> College Counseling: College Summit
College Summit is a national nonprofit organization working to increase the college enrollment of low-income students. By bringing together all the community members who benefit from increased college enrollment—students, school districts, colleges, employers, and community leaders—College Summit is working to ensure that every student who can make it in college makes it to college.
Thurgood Marshall Academy partners with College Summit to make our students’ post-secondary dreams a reality. Every Thurgood Marshall Academy 12th grader is in a College Summit Senior Seminar course where students receive the necessary resources and time to complete the college application process and prepare for a successful transition from high school to college.
