> Admissions Criteria
Thurgood Marshall Academy has set the following criteria for admission:
- Student must be entering either the 9th or the
10th grade.
- Student must have completed the 8th grade or the
equivalent to enter 9th grade, or 9th grade to enter
10th grade.
- We do not accept applications from students who
are 18 or older.
- Student must live in the District of Columbia
and provide specific documents to verify residency.
- Student must submit a completed application for
admission.
- Student and parent/guardian must participate in
the interview process.
- Student and parent/guardian must include with
the application the student's most recent school
records, including report cards, progress reports,
test score reports, IEPs, etc. Failure to provide
all required documents could result in denial of
admission to Thurgood Marshall Academy.
- Student and parent/guardian must provide up-to-date
health records.
