Purpose of the Thurgood Marshall Academy Portfolio
Students will be able to:
1. Prepare and give a presentation summarizing their academic work over the school year and the progress made toward their goals.
2. Respond to higher order questions regarding the academic content of their project work, and the process that they used to complete, revise, and improve their academic projects presented.
3. When questioned, defend, compare, and contrast their academic work from the current school year and previous years.
4. Reflect and evaluate their academic performance and their citizenship record.
5. Evaluate their role as an active citizen in the Thurgood Marshall Academy and outside community.
6. Participate in the task and preparation required to give a presentation, highlight an individual’s strengths, and reflect on the areas needing improvement.
